Was not a "lightning" but it was pretty much one hahaha.....

it was a 1995 F150 made by a place called "Kustom Kreations" but was slightly tweaked a little further....

I say it was and wasnt....because it wasnt a "lightning" but powerwise it was made to be one....the motor was putting out roughly between 275 and 300hp and was really fast for what it was on TERRIBLE tires hahaha....

I loved this truck so much...i wish i could have kept it but i really do need a 4x4 lol....

some other info on it....didnt have all the info regarding it though....

-5.0L V8
-K&N Filter Charger system
-15x8 Wheels w/ 275/60/15's
-Flowmaster 50 Series Exaust w/ 4" Tips
-AIWA Headunit
-Lightning Audio 300watt speakers
-6 CD Changer behind seats
-Interior Painted Green to match outside
-Custom Interior Lighting (Red White & Blue Dome light)
-Re Programmed computer
-Green to Blue w/ silver & Graphics paint
-Rug Covered Bed

but mine was bought from my uncle who used it in his shrimping business and it wouldn't hold anything in the bed, it was totally rusted out all the way around the bed and the front wheel wells....you could change the plugs from beside the front tires.....

AND I LOVED IT...........

The truck had like....38,000 miles on it when i bought it in 2003....and it was a 95...it was awesome

I still think that the 5.0 was one of the best engines ever....its up there with the small block chevy to my eyes at least....

Be it in a mustang or whatever....

I know..alot of girls do. I think for me, I just couldn't deal with the handling and stuff, but I may look at buying a 4x4 for next winter. We'll see if I beat the minivan to death...First day back on the road lol.

My first truck:

a 1983 Dodge Ramcharger with a 318c.i. v8. (I bought it late 1989, after HS)

I beat the shit out of that thing, rebuilt the engine (the previous owner didn't take good care of the engine stuff), and ended up trading it in on a 1990 Taurus after some doped out ER patient smacked into me while I was sitting in traffic, and he was going 55+. It completely totaled his Honda Accord-ian, just dented my back door/bumper. That truck took it and laughed it off.

I'd love to still have that thing.

Nice post Steve, I feel for ya, I know when the time comes and I finally have to sell my stang I'm gonna feel the same way. Doesn't matter WHAT kinda of vehicle it is, just that it matters so much to you.

(btw the 5.0 302 IS def one of the best engines ever made no doubt about it)

god, i hate that truck. it is impossible to work on....try to fix something on it and find 5 more things that are wrong.

Yeah, it's kind of weird to me...I've had several of our lady friends say how much more they like the Ram over the MSRT.
They found it "more comfortable", "safer feeling up high", "quieter" and 3 of them each said they find guys in trucks sexier dunno
