I'm curious about this mod and how well it would work with a Mopar TCM in our cars. Anyone know if they do, in fact, provide firmer and more positive shifts for the Nag1 Trans?

I haven't tried it, but read some good reviews. My issue is the price. $500 for 2 shift solenoids. To put it in perspective, I just had to change out the shift solenoids on my truck - $30 for 2.

The trans. mods are very expensive right now it seems. After some more companies start makin' upgrades parts for the NAG1 I would expect the price to come down. I'm in no hurry for any trans upgrades at the moment. My car shifts fine as it is. Just got to reset the TCM adaptives every once in awhile to keep the shifts firm.

The solenoids are actually a mercedes part you can get online or at your local dealer. I found them for $340 recently when doing some research. I have the part #'s somewhere if anyone is interested.

Milan, Give Builder Bill a call. He has put a lot of time and research into this and deserves the sales. Yes it is a MB part, but there is more to it then just that. Everyone that has this really likes the results. Give Wade a call next week as he is getting his on Wednesday.

Yup having BuilderBills upgraded valve body installed this Thursday morning at the local dodge dealership should only take about an hour and half will report how it works out.

I had BBill's VB put in last weekend and love it. Downshifts are pretty sweet! My 1-2 STILL rocks just as hard, my 2-3 is harder than before, and 3-4 kicks ass now. Driving normally, you can't really tell a difference. It drives stock. When you jump on it you can defintely feel a difference. You notice it the minute you put it into gear as well. There's no more 1-2 second pause. It goes right into gear, BAM! Even creeping into the hood late at night is easier. Shifts are immediate. Truck does feel about .1-.2 quicker. I ight go to the track Wed. Night to test it before I do my cam so I can see if there is an increase for sure, but SOTP tells me there defintely is.

I have one too. I think it's the mod that I can feel the most gain from except the stroker motor. I'm sure those quicker shifts = better time. Can't wait to see Harrisons results!
