Need sound clip of SRT8 Jeep minus resonator...

Anyone who's removed the resonator( the one just in front of the rear axel), but retained full factory exhaust and has a sound clip, I'd be grateful if you'd post it up. Been thinking about removing it and putting straight pipes in it's place and wanted to hear what it sounds like first. Also, any annoying interior resonance with removal or just a better growl sound?

Hey buddy....I think your referring to the muffler if you mean the big suitcase in front of the rear axel...if you actually mean the 2 resonators behind the rear axel before the tips, I just took a video of it actually before I installed my dynomax muffler....check out the thread for a video of that.

Oh, I assumed the two were mufflers and the single "suitcase" was the resonator...my bad.

Nope...the 2 things in the back are the resonators and the suitcase is the muffler...Im pretty sure if you completley remove the muffler, you lose backpressure and Low-End Torque..but, I could be wrong..

So, should I remove the two resonators then, and if so , what kinda sound? Your vids are helpful, but was wondering what sound I would get with just the resonators gone.Not interested in doing a muffler swap right now.Thanks for your help!

Yes, remove the 2 resonators first and see if you like it..it def. is a better sound...the first video in my thread is the stock exhaust with JUST the resonators removed...I also have a CAI, which changes the sound a little..not by much though...heres the video of just the resonators removed..
