Toyed with M3, STS-V & CTS-V

I putzing along and a sweet silver m3 passes me. Next thing you know I am passed by an STS-V and a CTS-V. What are the odds of that? I played with the CTS-V but he would not get along side and started weaving in and out of traffic at high speeds. I let him go. It was a 5.7L anyway.

Damn, Markus...is your car really running that badly? HHP stage II car like yours should be about dead even with a new CTS-V. I think you need a good CMR tune by DynoSteve my brotha!!!

Curtis, I like the way all the BMW's look, espcecially the high-end models like yours. Unfortuneately I don't see too many in my area or if I've seen one I haven't had the oppurtunity to run it. I'd love to run a M6. Any chance you'll be in DE soon?LOL Do you think your M6 is faster than your 300 was? Just curious and happy turkey day to you and your family.:xyxwave:

At this point all I have is the butt dyno. I need to run one of you guys to be sure.

I do feel it pulls very hard in the upper rpm and the high mph area. with my 300c it seems to lag that "umph" in 3rd gear. The m6 just keeps pulling and pulling and pulling. It is quite amazing around 8,250 rpm in any gear. I do plan to buy the Dinan software which simply raises the red line to 8,400 from 8,250 and removes the speed limiter.

The car will do around 200mph with the limiter removed.

If you ever have the balls to go 200MPH, please take a vid so we can post it!:thumbsup: Ya, starting out in 3rd gear and nailing the throttle isn't too impressive, but nail it in 2nd gear and keeping it floored it pulls real strong through 3rd gear.

I love those vids from the rear of the cars. That exhaust vid sounds alot like a vid that Maryland SRT8 made of his SRT8 with the corsa exhaust. The 2 exhausts sound similar.

1.) That was sport exhaust and I got race exhaust. Race is much louder :thumbsup:
