Stevo's Spring Fest Trip ***Lots of Pics***

The pics in post 1 are mostly pics taken by the G/F....I have yet to pull the pics off of the other camera....Ill try to do that tonight when I get home...

Overall....was freakin awesome...and if you have a chance to go....yeah you need to do so...

Oh and what was funny is...this whole event...took place right across from Ford's building....in our little area we had Chrysler, Ford, Mazda, and Toyota's buildings within 2 seconds of us....

So heres the story....

Got up at 4am to get ready and head down to Newark. Weather in NY was a balmy 34* and misty.

Get down to Newark by 6 for my flight...weather had warmed up to a nice toasty 39* and cloudy...not that you could tell as it was still dark....

Get on our flight no issues no delays...

So we are chillin out on the plane for the 6 hour and 34 min flight....glancing out the window we see some cool stuff...

Hals Car:

He had a Carbon Fiber fire wall cover installed....

It ended up rubbing and eventually breaking through a wiring harness which caused a pretty bad fire in the engine bay. destroyed the wiring harness, and pretty much everything meltalbe under the hood and fried the PCM

the guys worked their asses off to fix it and got the car running enough to pull it on a trailer so it could be towed back to AZ.


Rons Car: Due to some tuning issues, while it was on the Dyno at Techco the engine crapped out.

He is having his new engine being built right now by CMW and then Techco will get to work supercharging the shiny new 426

You have to be really careful when installing a firewall cover when your near the wiring harness and ensure you have plenty of room around it so that doesn't happen to you
