They'll likely be my next tire choice, although for a straight-line, 275 Toyo Proxes4's have really been a pleasant surprise. Had a 1.84 60 footer on them this season. Only thing I've heard about the Vreds is their lifespans but your mileage may vary lol. I guess wheneever you're going with a good performance tire, they're usually softer and well, you know the rest.

I was about to buy these but the mileage made me back out. After getting 15,000 on my F1's I wanted a tire to last longer. I ended up getting the Nitto 420's. I dont know how well they hook up at the track but they are great on the street.

Mine did the same. My F1's lasted about 13000 miles...if that. lol.

I really wanted to try the Vred's this spring but it was impossible to find a Canadian distributor within reasonable distance then I ran outt a time/patience and went to 275 Proxes4's. My second rear set as I go trough a set each summer (about 10K before taking em off).

Oh shit-o-dear, Steve...how in the hell did I edit your post, man? lmao...I'm sorry...me can no fixy but I like my new signature! I guess I didn't notice the edit option to be open on all posts in this thread. Sorry too, Milan.

Thinking of having to buy tires kinda scares me.

Gone are the days when Charger ownwers were selling their stock wheels and tires dirt cheap. My first forum transaction were a set of chrommed stock 18's and NEW tires for less than the cost of the tires alone.

Lol..because you have mod ability so you guys must have clicked on "edit" and not "quote". I used to do it all the time. Once you realize it, you can always go back and "edit" the same post and then remove what you typed in someone's post. Then, proceed to reply to it normally and hit "quote" if you want there as well.

I looked at these as well and they're definitely a world class tire...at a world class price as well.

I HATE my Nitto 420s. Pieces of crap with no cornering or grip. Blah! Sorry, just my opinion. I suppose if you want a tire to last, then get them. But I hear great things about the Falken FK-452......I am also looking. Check into the Dunlop Sport Maxx tires as well. You sittin on 20s or 22s??

That's pretty good news since they've developed a pretty good following. I have to say, I'm pretty damn impressed with my Toyo Proxes4's as well...at least for straight-line action hehehe.
