Nice runs Tab. My car's still a virgin and hasn't seen a track yet, but has seen plenty of action on the street. Someday, I'll take it to the track.

Thanks Steve. I'm addicted now...and that's not a good thing to be with a stock chevy tranny. lol. so i have to be a good girl and wait until i get a better tranny and a converter, then i can tear up the track some more.

What's with the stock tranny? I'd assume it would take a full bolt-on truck without having to beef it up. A converter would be a good track mod though.

header, dual exhaust, CAI, and a tune. and those runs were on street tires with my 200 lb system in the back and a full tank of gas.

went to the track last weekend without the system, on DR's, and 1/4 tank of gas and pulled off an 8.5.

our stock tranny's are basically junk. gm didn't think when they put the LS2 in the TBSS that it might need a better tranny...idiots!

The LX trannies are pretty tough out the box thankfully. Most people don't have problems until they near the 600RWHP mark.
