I want to take my cats out but i want a bolt on pipe. So when i go for inspection i would put my stock cats back in. Who wants to do it for me and how much will it cost, how much louder will my jeep be?

so you just want catless midpipes?

you can buy those online for pretty cheap I bet

if they go right into the place of the cats its just some bolts at both ends and your done.

an exhaust shop should also be able to fab you up some if you had the bolt brackets for the pipes (or could get them from somewhere)....Try the place "exhaust depot" and see what they have...

You might be best off buying some cats from someone (i have my OEM Cats for sale for cheap ;) ) and just cutting the flanges off the ends and welding them onto some bent pipe...

the Jeeps are a little tougher finding exhaust parts for than the LX

I believe that most of the header manufacturers also sell a cat-less mid-pipe for their systems. I know for sure that ARH does and believe that Kooks does also. Call one of the vendors and see about that.
