2010 Lambo Gallardo LP550-2 550hp RWD?

Oh baby. The cat would appear to be out of the bag for the Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2, as what certainly look to be official photos of the newest bull have hit the web. Details are sketchy, but Lamborghini's naming scheme keeps no secrets. Assuming this is all on the level, expect 550 horsepower from the V10 mounted aft of the cockpit, with that power going to the rear wheels exclusively. The lack of AWD should also result in some weight loss, a welcome addition in any sports car, much less a Lamborghini making this kind of power. And yes, that's a ball-topped gated shifter in the interior photo featured in the gallery. Glorious. A very serious car for very serious drivers. We're dying to hear the official details.

Sweet. I toyed with an AWD one the other day. Not sure which one except he said he paid 220 and it was a convertible.

Well,
We eyeballed each other on a 5 mile patch of 45mph under construction area on the interstate. Both took the same exit. At the light, he was in front of me and he created distance from the dig. He had the AWD and I spun. I closed the gap by the time we had to slow down. Really not a good test. I pulled him over and we chatted.
He commented on my exhaust note and like my car. I told him it had some work done and he gave me nod of approval. Said he sold his ferrari and bought the lambo.
It was solid black with yellow calipers. Very nice.

Yeah thats a pretty badass car....There are Youtube videos of when the C6Z06 hit the streets spanking everything it game across...a Gallardo, 911 Turbo etc...
