So I saw a ZR1 and met the Corvette Product Manager!!!

While I was at the local B-dubs a new ZR1 rolled in off of I-75. This was sort of odd considering that its December and parked next to me is the most powerful AMERICAN muscle car ever made. The car is so bad ass even while not moving!! It has a very menacing stance and commands attention. SO I get all excited and tell my girl that we have to go back inside and find the owner, the car had Michigan plates and was packed rather full. I walk back inside and I notice there is a guy wearing a ZR1 shirt..after I begged him to take me for a spin-which was a negatory.., I found out who the guy was. His name was Harlan Charles, the product manager for Corvette. So I'm pretty sure he might have the greatest job in the world.. He's in a couple of YouTube videos if you search Harlanm Charles ZR1, I told him about MMF and he said he'd try to check it out. I'm pretty sure he could answer a few questions about the ZR1...

Okay I meant sports car. The Saleen isn't a production car and the KR doesn't come from the factory in that configuration. So I stand my ground! The GS is like the track Vette. 0-60 in 4 seconds isn't bad for a NA coupe. Good luck launching it to obtain that figure.

I had my hood painted to get rid of that dopey window. It's so effortless to drive. I have spent 5hrs in the drivers seat & was comfortable. I do have to qualify that. I had the seats reupholstered with better foam & leather. I got 23mpg on the highway. The stereo is being redone next week, cant wait.

We took delivery in Bowling Green. Got a great tour. Better still, I got to talk to 2 engineers there. Gave me mod ideas befor I picked it up. They are very proud of their cars & like talking about them.
