I can remember! All I thought about was stink finger, dipping my wick, getting some oral stimulation (good, bad or just putting it in some chicks mouth) and waiting to get my license!

I don't think that she is doing anything that the rest of the girls her age aren't already doing. The difference is that she has that celebrity status and is ran through the wringer any time she does anything out of the child pop star perfect world mold. I have to admit times have changed since most of us were kids. I have 2 girls of my own, 5 and 7. Not a day goes by that I don't see the world as a place I really don't want my kids subjected to. However, it is how things are now a days and the only thing we can do is prepare them for it and raise them to respect themselves, one another and hope that they make the right decisions in life.

With that said, I am going to tuck them into bed. I know tonight they will sleep safe and sound! :hug1:

That being said my REAL problem with this is Disney. They push these goody goody girls on our kids and you can't NOT see them everywhere (tv, music, movies, posters). It makes it impossible for young girls NOT to idolize them and that's the problem. My niece began changing into new clothes at least 4 times a day (or would have a temper tantrum) by the age of 5. She's a beautiful little girl, but I can honestly say that she was affected, at least in part, by how the media (including Disney) has portrayed girls. I don't think there's a damn thing that can be done about that but parents can surely do their part..sad thing is, many enable it. Look at Jean Benet Ramsay? Those contests at that age are pretty crazy shit imo.

A guy I know has raised his daughters to certain standards and has bestowed values and morals the best he knows how. His daughters are like 11 and 9 and the 11 year old was all into Miley Cyrus. She had lots of posters on the walls, had video's, games, etc.........anything Miley. When the first photo's came out on the .net, my man went to his daughter and told her that there had been some pictures of Miley released on the internet. They weren't nasty pictures but some she needs to see......so he showed them to her. She pretty much said "thanks for showing me daddy" and went on to her room. Turns out she had removed every poster and boxed up everything else dealing with Miley Cyrus. She said she didn't want them anymore and didn't want to go to the concert. When asked why she had made the decision she had she just said "I don't want to be like that".

This stems from idolizing and "wanting to be like" and she just didn't want to be so anymore!

Now that's parenting.

Totally agree bro, my choice of the word "slut" I suppose was a bit harsh. You're right, she hasn't done anything to really merrit that title. I suppose I'm a bit old fashioned when it comes to this kinda stuff (even tho I never thought I was), I suppose once I became a parent that was inevitable. That and the fact that I have a 9 yo daughter that lives for Disney and Miley and all those girls and I see what those girls do (posing for racy pix or worse, getting preg at 16) and it just makes me mental! WHY must we push our kids to grow up so fast?!?! Let them enjoy childhood and all its innocence and carefree being, there's plenty of years ahead for all of the responsibilities and pain and horror of adult life. Imo.
