Anyone have any plans for the weekend? Sunday, my wife (huge football fan) and I are going to see the Lions play the Vikings at Ford Field. Other than that, some shopping in the States and other uneventful things. And we can't have a It's Friday ya Bastards thread without our hot Friday chick....(gotta keep with tradition ya know) ;)

I agree with Danny, snap some pics Steve! I'm running out of vacation days too...6 left and I intend on taking a few (maybe 4 lol) around X-mas and carrying over a couple. Wife just told me she wants to set up the Christmas tree tonight and I had to give that the veto. At least on my part....told her I'd take it out of the box and stuff though. I hate doing that. Perhaps when I'm older and more mature lol..Kind of like "trying on clothes". Yesterday she went to the mall and had some shirts set aside for me to try on (they were on sale and only a few left) so, off I go with her later in the evening..begrudgingly of course. Got dragged to the mall only to find out these shirts looked like those Affliction print long-sleeves and were too form-fitting for me. Told her, "I'm not that guy" lol...had they have been more loose, they would have went well with jeans and my moobs wouldn't have been squished.

Shovelled out to the hot tub yesterday (I'm on vacation for the next few months) in anticipation of having a last minute cocktail party this weekend.

Saturday night I might be a dud, though, as the whole family starts into weekend downhill skiing/boarding tomorrow.

Maybe from Heffner Performance since they are just around the corner - but I don't know for sure.

Tomorrow we're having a birthday party for them since their B-days are only a month apart and the wife has a big family. We also do something with each of them on their own special days. Hope things are a bit cooler here tomorrow - I enrolled Leenie (and myself) in whats called an Experienced Rider Program that goes from 8:30 - 5:00 in a huge parking lot.

I've done the course before and she's concerned that she's not ready but I think she is...they teach you on your own bike. Things like ultra low-speed maneuvers, obstacle avoidance and even how to power over roadside obstacles.

Long effin' day in 35C+ with direct sun, but I think she's up for it...I know she has way more stamina that I do :nuts:

Yeah, Busch Gardens will be a lot of fun. We didn't go this last time with the kids but they did Disney and loved it. I recently got in and we had a bunch of the neighbors over with their little kids. Man, they wiped me out lol. Our kids fell asleep within a few minutes so it's some tv and then I'm calling it quits. This year's all about the kids so it's left us doing nuthin'...

All the Halloween parties we used to go to were held at the homes of happy couples that we knew for ages - They're all divorced/separated now (11 couples and counting). Bummer.

I wouldn't say I'm ready for Monday but I'll be glad to hand out the candy and be done with Halloween. Today looks promising, there is a Car Show/Toy Run today that the fam and I are going to. Hoping to see Paxton (Steve) there and maybe get a few pics. Sunshine and 60* here today, hopefully a lot of cars show up for the event. The more cars show up means there were more toys handed out for the kids and that's gotta make you feel good.

Why yes Joe, we love the horsies. Daughter takes lessons weekly and we ride as often as we can. Although I do love to admire the tough guy cowboys too!

This weekend is a high tech helicopter event. Youngster will be able to check out police,military,fire etc stuff. Hubs thinks it's a really really bad idea because of my fascination with helicopters! LOL! I've been wanting to learn to fly one lately and he thinks I should just learn to fly a plane since we have friends with planes. He knows he's gonna lose this battle....he always does! I can be very persuasive when I want something!HEHE

And we'll probably hit the beach Sun if it's nice out, haven't done that lately. :coolgleamA:
