Well Guys, I've been promising to post pics of the new toy for a while so here they are. Specs of the car are as follows
1968 Dodge Coronet 440. Originally a 318/column shift bench seat car. Now has 383/Console and buckets. Car is basically a Super Bee Tribute car without the stripe. B5 blue paint, all new interior from Legendary auto interiors, 14 inch Magnum 500s. Engine is supposedly out of a Road Runner that ran 12.70s but you know how that goes. Cam is pretty lumpy so I'll need a looser converter and maybe a gear (don't know what is in it yet!). I need to get the parking lights and turn signals working then give the engien a good tune up. I'm sure it's pretty rich as it is right now but it's driveable. Future plans include a late model Hemi Swap and an OD trans but it will be a while with the baby on the way. Should be a nice cruiser as is for me and the misses.

Wilson,
I love it. Great car and super clean. You, the misses, and your baby could all fit in that engine bay! I wish the modern cars had that much room to work. Should bring you lots of pleasure. Congrats. She is a beauty for sure. Bring back alot of memories for me!

Damn fine car J! I can't wait to see it in person and I'll head out with you guys to the track once I get my clearance to bring over the drag radials across the border and back (pita). Otherwise, they could turn me away or try to charge me duty on the way back lol...geniuses.

Thanks guys. Guess I better hurry up and get it to the track. It will probably be the only time I will beat BJB since his isn't running yet! LOL After years of tuining EFI, I have to remember how to dial in a Holley. Should be a fun project though.
If you think the engine bay is big Curtis, you gotta see the trunk!

Very cool lookin' ride! I love the old muscle car body styles, but on the other hand I'm not a big fan of the interiors. I'd love to be able to a retro rod and do a old muscle car, either a 69 Camaro or 71 Cuda, and put a modern interior and drivetrain in it. If I ever hit the lotto...that's what I'm going to do!

Odo says little over 78k, but I don't know if that is true. It's clean enough that it might be. I know the Left quarterpanel has been replaced as has the trunk floor. Thats pretty good for an original MI car of this vintage.

Yeah, it's pretty sweet. I'm definelty going to need to get a looser converter and maybe a new gear to make it all work. It will still be a cool cruiser for now.

SWEET! Can't wait to see it. Gotta get to Milan soon.
You will probably want to put a new heater core in it pretty soon too (judging by the pics).

Everything is there, it just needs to be hooked up. Car won't see much winter driving here in MI. It's an original AC car too but I need all teh underhood stuff for a big block car.

Thanks for all the compliments guys. I've always wanted something like this but could never justify it. I was finally in a position where I could and happened to be in the right place at the right time. Longterm plans include a latemodel Hemi conversion with an overdrive trans but I'll be happy cruising her the way she is for now. Still need to work on that tune up. Haven't found a place to hook up the laptop yet! LOL
