Hey MMF gang.....
What do you all HONESTLY think of these tails for the Jeep? Are they cool, or too ricer? I think I dig em, but need some backup here. And is it really an LED taillight, if it's just "plug and play?"

Chase I've seen them on panajeep's jeep and they look great, he has them tinted also.
Here's a pic he took of it, a little shaky but at least you can see them tinted on a jeep.
I don't think they look ricy at all.

I believe those ones are plug and play on a 06. For the 07-08 you need to modify the wiring that the bulb hooks into. I think HarrisonZ is the only one on this forum that has done the swap... You might want to check with him.

I think they'd look good Chase as long as you kept the tint dark. Don't know how 'smoked' they come out of the box.

Thanks for the pic Stevo, that helps!!! I think I'm gonna pull the trigger, and see what they look like on. And maybe tint if I need to.

And there isn't any light that is safe from VHT :grinyes: That is what I used on my last vehicle. I thought about doing it to the Jeep now, too.

Chase
those are different than mine just a little bit....I believe mine started out just LED red BUT mine are so dark that you can't see any of the details. I have the reverse clear. The nice thing about them is the LED's are so bright they shine right thru and had no trouble with the "law" yet. I've been followed already and no worries... I have an '06 and they were just plug and play. Install took 10 min from start to finish...

fine decision Chase, the stock tails (tinted) are hard to beat, just like the wheels!
