Took my car to dyno and below are results
First my mods are
K&N Filter
Corsa Sport Mufflers
Lingenfelter SC pulley Swap Upgrade
(Tune, SC Pulley, Modified Air Box, Snout Ported and Polished)
The dyno was a mustang and I understand they are traditionally 10% low.
If in fact that is the case, I figure around 531 rear wheel HP.
I was hoping for more but for a DD, I guess that is good?
Thoughts?
OH, & SPECIAL SHOUT OUT TO JON FOR HELPING ME CONVERT THE FILE SO WE CAN DISCUSS. YOU ARE THE MAN JON

What do stock CTS-V's put to the ground? 480RWHP isn't bad, but like you said, I thought it would've been higher. From what I've heard though...the Mustang dynos to read quite a bit lower than the rest. Regardless, its still a badass vehicle and your making more power than I am!LOL
Forget the dyno numbers... How does it feel? That's all that matters.

For your mods C, I'd say that was fairly impressive in terms of gains. Any idea of what a stock one puts down?

I am finding alot of interesting tidbits
mustang readings are low
gotta find a dynojet
know of kooks headers only car doing 454 on dyno jet
know of bone stock cal car doing 440
believe the ave is 460-470 bone stock.
456rwhp 18% parasitic drop is 556 crank
so I got 483 rwhp & 483/.82 is 589 crank
if 10% low for mustang dyno 483plus 10% is 483 +48.3 or 531rhp
531 rwhp is (531/.82) 647 crank.
I will meet up with another caddy with similar mods at a shop with a dynojet
The guys at the shop I visited were very impressed with the whole thing.
BTW, the car is a alot stronger than stock by the way it feels by the seat of the pants.
I would be happy with 630 crank but i think n a dynojet it is gonna come in around 640 ish crank cause i added a K&N filter and the corsa sport. to the
claimed 630 bhp lingenfelter mod.

Thanks guys for the favorable comments. I will post up next time I have more info. Meanwhile, with winter coming, I'm just gonna cruise around and enjoy the corsa sport exhaust note. I love the sound. Very vette like!

Those numbers are actually pretty good curtis. Mustang dynos are typically 15-20% lower then a dynojet. Using your 483 we can do the math
483rwhp(mustang) = 483*1.15(15% for dynojet correction) = 555.45 Dynojet RWHP. Take 18% drop for driveline loss
555.45*1.18=655.43
Not too shabby. This is all theorectical using general rules of thumb but you get the idea. Only real way to know is put it on a Dynojet and see what she does but no matter what, that is a nice driver ;-)

I'll take that as gospel coming from you. You made my day.
I will be getting on a different dyno to confirm though. Thanks for the post!
Say, how's the coronet doing. You done any work on her? Be interested in following your work.

Aside from dyno or 1/4 mile numbers I have a Racelogic Pbox. Lots of guys compare their 60-130 times. Mine in my Jeep is 10.5 seconds 60-130!!

The Coronet is coming along. Just going over it and finding out what boobie traps were left by the previous owner. Wiring is mostly sorted out. I'm pulling togther my christmas list. I think I'm going to throw a new Intake and carb on over the winter. I just bought some ceramic coated headers and will need to get a 3" exhaust to go with it. The thing is just really choked up with those manifold and that lumpy solid lifter cam. I want to put a performer RPM intake on to help with the low end as that old Torquer is not the best for a street car. Probably toss in a higher stall converter too. Should get me cruising for a while so I can save up to do the late model swap in a couple of years.

Sounds good. I love that car. I hope santa is good to ya this year!
I came across my neighbor today who has a gorgeous and spotless completely stock Z28 that has won several coveted awards. Made me think of your car. He told me he got a great deal on her as the owner was ill and he paid $60,000 less for it than the gent bought her for. I believe it has the 327.
He has a heavily modded late model Z06 with nice H&R wheels. Very very well done. He also has and older mint vert vette as well. I mean really old.
Looks like early 60s or late 50s, not sure.
He has a lift that he keeps his older vette on and parks the camaro under it.
Nice garage.
