Went to Kilkare yesterday with my buddy Walt to work on some personal bests. His first run of the day was a 10.54@129mph with a 1.54 60ft. This
is with a 8.8 CR Arrington 426 with a Kenne Bell blower with 15lbs of boost. All he did was throw on his 17" Hoosiers and let it rip. After his first pass I got behind the wheel and made 3 passes. I had 2 passes with 1.5x 60's but let off at the 1/8th. Slicks just feel different than I'm used to and I wasn't trying to put his car into the wall. What a rush to leave the line in a 773whp beast! Plans are to put skinnies up front to replace the 20" Vipers and try to work on the launch RPM's. Here's the video I made of his 10.54 pass. The DA was 1700 but it was a great day.
