Doesn't make sense their...your car as it stands should only be running in the mid to high 12's.Hmmmmmmmm

Is that with your current listed mods minus the LT's? SRT magnum should be right with those #'s with a tune,intake and exhaust.

CAI, ECM/TCM tune (not the one in it now) Pulley, and a catback Magnaflow. I was the 1st in the 12s and the 1st to 60 in the 1.90s. I know of 2 G8s with hot tunes and DRs running 13.0 with ZERO mods.

You still shouldn't be killing an SRT by 10 cars to 100 with those mods even if he was bone stock. Somethings not right there...you've got to admit that. There's plenty of stock SRT8's doing high 12's on street tires in good DA and cool weather.

The 12.70 was BEFORE the headers, TQ management, Pedders and some air flow mods. I am guessing right now its probably a 12.40ish car. We all know what you or I could get out of a car doesnt mean that most can.

The SRT-8 on the rear and Brembos kind of gave it away. In no way was this guy a "driver" just an owner. I know what SRTs do also I build them too. The thing is G8s are way underrated as far as what they can do.

I believe that the G8's are underated especially when they're modified. It's just the 10 car thing that had me scratching my head. I can't wait to race one now hahaha!!

The G8s are WAY under estimated. The R/T is no competition at all. Not trying to start shit, just a fact as I build both. The SRT-8s are awesome! You put a good driver in a well modded G8 it is a race and the guy with the G8 still has about 6k in his pocket. G8s have gone 11.1 on small tires with a MagnaCharger and bolt ons. A few have gone mid 11s with a stall, cam/heads and bolt ons. There is a TT one that is running 11.0 on DRs! His only mod other then TTs is Magna flow mufflers. That is a 10sec car with a non DOD cam. His total investment is less then a SRT-8 and just a bit more then a R/T. They are both great cars, I just think the G8 is the best bang for the buck.
