We have tons of salt here is Michigan, but the plumbing is all 304H Stainless Steel so no worries there and I wash it alot. She should be alot of fun this winter in the snow! I'll probably turn off the boost and run a 3psi spring in the wastegate though just to be a bit snow friendly.
Welcome great to have you here. Man you've done that build the right way.

Thanks Vinny, got that Vortec on there yet?
great looking rig, lots of work done, but it begs the question, why not just buy the SRT8 and turbo that? Anyhow, welcome aboard and enjoy the fun!!!!!!
Thanks man,
Well the engine was going to be ripped out no matter what because of the cast parts that couldn't meet my goals (piston ringlands, rods, cylinder wall thickness, high compression, ect).
I like the 5.7 driveline and would have to by all that if I went with the SRT8. The NV245 transfer case is bulletproof and has a 48/52 split (no spin it just chirps and goes). So far the 5.7 driveline (stage 3 trans) has withstood pushing a 5,100 lb Superbee Ram down the 1/4 @ 11.29 @ 115.77 MPH. With a 60ft. - 1.521 seconds. The Electronic Limited Slips Diffs front and rear lock instantly when floored and plus people just think it's a regular Jeep with a SRT8 body kit, so it's kinda a sleeper till I step into the gas and then it sounds like a 747 Jet.
But the biggest reason of them all....It was easy to talk the wife into! Although I have had to redo most of my house to keep the peace...you know...get some Rims and buy a couch too, new bumper and refinish the bathroom, it goes on and on! :ROTFLMAO:

Now I just need to find someone close with a mandrel bender and the tools to weld with some 304H SS. I checked a bunch of local shops  and nothing so I'll probably be making a trip back down to NCTS to get her all setup.
And yes my yard is a mess right now! :pounding table: I got tired of tree sap :mad1: and leaves so I cut a bunch of 90' monsters down...plus no more tree limbs falling on my vehicles.

Nice work dude!!!! Shitfire!! Welcome to MMF!!!! :headbang
WTF is "shitfire" :ROTFLMAO:
Edit: Nevermind....I found it :hehe3:
1. shitfire
A general exclamation denoting surprise, arousal, discontent, or boredom. It's a buffer word. Earliest film reference is Deliverance, starring uber-fit Burt Reynolds.
Damn, you can play that solo. Shitfire!
That guy just cut me off! SHITFIRE!
Shitfire, I'm bored.
Shitfire, you're sexy.
2. Shitfire
A name given to the Windsor Spitfires hockey team when they are playing like shit (which is most of the time).
"Do you want to watch the Shitfire game?"
3. Shitfire
A derogatory term used to refer to the Crossfire Injection system, used by General Motors between 1981 and 1984. It was replaced by TPI in 1985. Crossfire Injection had a reputation for being unreliable. Also see Ceasefire.
My shitfire Corvette doesn't run.

Just updated the Trinity and it now works in my Jeep!
All I did for now is mod the stock tune.
Upped the idle for the cam 150, removed the rev limiter in D and removed the top speed limiter.
Anyone know what is in the canned 93 tune? What perimeters have been modified/changed?

I made a little video for you guys today and please ignore what the radio is playing when she first starts up...lol.
I take her up to a little over half throttle at the end too...45-95 in a less than 3 seconds! The rest of the vid is just normal driving and I'm usually letting off the throttle as it really wants to go FAST....
She is currently running around 7-8psi at a 9:1 compression. As soon as I run some datalogs with some new files that Tim has sent me we will be pushing her up to 12+ psi and then I have to do some more mods to go up to 20 which will be insane to say the least.
I'll make some more vids in a little bit. I need to find a camera man and a nice clear road.
Enjoy!

I was just wondering if any of you fellow gear heads out there have ever ran SPA Technique gauges?
I looked for an AutoMeter dual EGT Gauge and it appears that they don't make one.
I have found some made by Spa Technique. Have any of you heard of this company before, thoughts/opinions on their stuff? They are definitely a bit pricey...lol.
Here are the gauges I'm thinking of:
Dual EGT gauge and kit DG 222
http://www.spatechnique.com/product_...ils.cfm?id=385
Dual Boost/Fuel Pressure gauge DG 216
http://www.spatechnique.com/product_...ils.cfm?id=381
I'm thinking Black bezel, black face and a red back light.
Here is what else I have going on......
New fuel system I'm spec'ing out right now, soon to be installed mid-march along with everything else.

Thanks guys!
Here's some more mods with pics.
Nitto INVO's 275/315 Combo to hopefully keep this thing stuck to the ground.

So I got sick of all the over the top wiring (pic below) and plus I upgraded the ignition while I was at it. Here is what I started with...The ugly embarrassing 05 rats nest of wires. Only 8 shared coils, spark plug wires over the manifold. Basically a ugly underpowered design.

New stuff awaiting install.

First order of business. Get rid of those over the top spark plug wires, shared coils and those huge ball socket cover attachments.

Next order of business. The 05 to 06 coil connections are different and wired totally opposite. Cut those off and rewire them to the 06 specs.
Cut, striped, crimped, soldered and shrink wrapped! Orange is Coil Command. Purple is ASD Relay.

Once your all done rewiring the ignition, as if that wasn't enough fun for you, now remove the valve covers.
http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e295/My_Kiddos/JAMES%20STUFF/IMG_0770.jpg
Now put the new valve covers and coil packs on. Reattach all wiring and hoses.

Now trim to fit your engine half covers, Wipe up all the blood you dripped all over, get some cold packs for your knees (kneeling on a battery and fender for hours hurts A LOT), a heating pad for your back that is killing you, turn down the radio (cause your not cussing out the engineers anymore who thought it was cool to put all the bolts in unreachable places) and admire your work as you turn the key and she starts right up and roars like the savage beast this HEMI is! :yeah
Now if there wasn't 3 feet of snow outside I'd take her for a spin.
