OK, here's the dealio,
My wife works out at the gym every day - no shit...7 days a week and teaches body pump and spinning classes.
In doing so, for many years, I've been the guy responsible to download and sync as many 120-130 BPM songs as I can find as she uses the music to keep her workout going with a positive spin.
literally 8,000 plus songs later, I'm spent and hoping that Sirius makes a teeny armband-type receiver that woudl alloer her to simply log in to Area or BPM channels and pump to her hearts desire.
Q: does this type of unit exist (I have yet to start shopping) and if so, are there some that are better than others in terms of size, features etc.?

I could be wrong, but I think their portable unit, the stilleto 2, is i-pod size, not a tiny arm-band deal, here's the link : http://shop.sirius.com/edealinv/servlet/ExecMacro?nurl=control/StoreItem.vm&ctl_nbr=2640&siId=3346664&catParentID=7874&scId=7874&oldParentID=

no worries, glad to help. . . it'd be nice if they'd come out with a smaller unit for sure. . . maybe Markus can help with their design ? :pounding table:

Yeah, you're right. I bought it at Best Buy and it's huge compared to the micro MP3 she can now simply stick between her tits (I think that's where she puts it...).
It came with a neat home/car adaptor and I like it but I bet the whole thing'll be goin' back, lol

Or get a ipod touch or somethign that uses the Pandora radio application...its essentially a listing of all types of radio stations with songs and you can vote to skip them and what not...cool stuff.

Interesting, I may look at that for myslef afterwards, Ryan.
A while ago, we put a moritorium on all things iPod in our household after several dissapointing experiences with software and operational problems related to mp3 players. Maybe we'll get back on the wagon.

lmao...I really need to review the sheer volume of smileys we have at our disposal...although that could be a smiley doing a face plant rim I guess.
