I guess the software update went mostly through. All of the threads and posts survived, but none of the look did. Thanks to all the admins for all the work that they put in here because the stock vbulletin look isn't very nice.

I DO know that we upgraded to the latest and greatest Version 4 of vBulletin and I sure as hell hope initial impressions don't last too long because it SUCKS! lol. It's being touted as a more powerful than ever package with a lot more functionality blah blah blah. We'll try and get it resolved asap.

I just got off the phone with Derek and he's on it. I was told some of the new features and they do sound pretty damn cool so I hope in the long run it's worth it. We're also looking to hire a guy from vBulletin.org to help us with the transition if things get too sticky.

The new vbulletin 4 that the site is now running is still in beta status, but that upgrade is why the forums look totally different. I've been testing it for a few weeks now on a dummy site before upgrading all my forums and runs well with lots of great features (especially if they are going to install the Publisher version), but takes a bit to customize. They'll get it all set up in no time! :)

Ahhhh!! Running into some stupid bugs with the way its wants to handle the main logo / banner. gonna reset everything back to vB4 default templete, and then just fucking hard code the banner in with CSS and HTML.....I hope beta 5 comes out in the next day or two....

I wonder if it's been corrected because I clicked on it and it took me to the last post of this thread. I'm sure this is just a temporary thing folks and like anything it'll require getting some used to. I'll try to make the font darker and perhaps get many of your suggestions in the mix. I don't see a user cp button either J, but you can access your user options in the drop down menu under 'forum options'.

I think it might be a Beta4 bug, as changing the stylevar for the avatars isn't responding.

Someone has posted up a hard code fix for it, and I'm going to see if it actually works.
