Hello all,

Need to replace the tires on my CSRT8...I am running Toyo Proxes 4 all around, 275-40-20...I do not want to break the bank, but looking for solid tire...happy with the Toyos, no compliants...just want to see what is out there...

Likely be off-loading the CSRT8 this summer when the CTS-V coupe hits the streets (do plan on picking one up)...but for the meantime, need some news tires...

Likely stay at the 275-40-20, and was actually thinking about going with 285-30-20...

Any thoughts/suggestions/comments...

Much appreciate
Scott

Well, if you were an enthusiastic driver, and were keeping the car. I'd say Nitto NT-05. Hands down. No questions asked. But since you're only looking to "get by" till the big trade. You may be better off with another set of what you have.

I'm running the Toyo's also in a 275/40/20 all around. I like these tires, but they don't seem to last too long on the rears for some reason!LOL I'm going to try the Hankook Ventus ST RH06's next. They are only $116 a tire at www.tireseasy.com and have a treadwear rating of 420. I've read a couple of threads over at LXF and everyone who seems to be running these is happy with them...at they supposedly last forever.

If you will be using the tires up some until the sale and want a decent performance tire..check out east coast tires on Ebay and their prices on Toyo Proxe4's. I like that tire for straight line action and they lasted pretty damn good too. Alot of people are buying the Vredensteins though and recommend them.

I have these on my Jeep. I know a few people that have them on their 300.
