Lots of letters are not sent to owners. Only primary (first) owners get letters.
Some recalls -
05/06 powerstrokes - too many to list
09 explorer/mountaineer/sport trac- new brake shift interlock recall
most pre 05 vehicles brake switch recall- dont"think" you've already had this done- there were 3 versions of this same recall and even if you got the first one done a revised one may have been issued since.
Focus- defroster vent recall/reflash

6.0/6.4's have had many many recalls> too many to list. The problem is interstate motors with ford engineering and siemens/motorolla/programming. Too many people play factors in those diesel setups of old and the communication between them isnt always great. Nothing major. We've got pcm/tcm/ic reflashes, to injector harness recalls, to seat bracket weld's that might brake, and coolant system rerouting to help eleveate radiator pressure. nothing like that of the current toyota recalls just that there are a bunch and i want people to get them fixed for free while they can. Recalls do sometimes expire after mileage and age and recalls are there to fix safety or emission components so why not do what ya can as you can.
Ford is one of the better manufactures that will issue a recall for smaller things prior to be forced by the nhtsa like yota and dodge. Most of the failures on recalled components are not even ford parts they are parts made by other companies for ford.
