View Full Version : Well the wife went to the range with her new Glock

My wife went with some friends to try out her new Glock. I think she went through 50 to 100 rounds and she nailed her target. She is crazy accurate with it already. Her response? "I LOVE MY NEW GUN!" So I think she is hooked. And I think she is going again real soon, this time I hope to be able to go so i can pump some rounds through it. :yeah

She is just so excited with it.

What model glock? I'm actually going to the range a lil later today with my g23 and a couple other pistols. The wife's been asking to go to, so I got to take her eventually.

you know their hands are too small for that.... my wife is gun stupid, so a hammerless revolver for her, no saftey to get freaked out about or forgetting how to chamber a round, just point and shoot 5 rounds of .38 +p eagle talons.

single stacked usually has a smaller grip than staggered. i have to pay extra attention to this because i have girly hands lol

Just went to the range the other day to break in my new Glock 27. My wife loves my Kimber Ultra CDP and hates both of my Glocks. LOL. She prefers wheel guns, but likes the Kimber and my Taurus PT-111

Its a Glock G19. I want a Ruger GP100 357 mag. And a Sig P226 40cal. And yes a Kimber too...I also want a Springfield XD series handgun too...

Nice. nothing better than a Dead Aim when shooting at the husband in the next big arguement As they say besides shoot straight ,never waste a bullet. Good job there. Wives are Arming themselves all across America...love it!

I have a sig p229 in .40, it's smooth like butter as I suspect the p226 is. I shot a xd for the first time while at the range. Something was wrong with it, after every shot the slide would lock back like it was empty. Thankfully it was a rental but i was dissapointed i couldnt shoot it cause i heard xd's were great guns.

Don't get me wrong, I don't want to dissuade her. I think a lot of those videos are clearly set up by the guys to do the "women can't shoot, see?" BS. I know several women who can out-shoot me. And I love it. It's more a fault of the people instructing them failing to teach them correctly. I saw one where a girl gets smacked in the face by a rifle scope, hard enough to make me cringe, but it was clearly an instructional fault, as the instructor just walks right by her and doesn't say a word about the fact that she has the bottom end of the butt on the top of her shoulder. lol. I may be working as a gun safety instructor during the summer, so. Anyone has to learn properly, you can't start them on a .50BMG lol.Start them on a .22
