I want to remain stock as far as the cat set up on the Jeep, but the cheapest I've seen the cats ( and they come as a whole unit) is over $1400.00! If any of you guys know of , or have a stock, undamaged, working set, please let me know.

Magnaflow makes a hi flow cat that attaches to the trock headers.

For the money, I'd go for the Magnaflow cats. The only issue is that they might trigger a CEL every once in awhile for cat inefficiency. This is what I used to get every week or so before I turned off the rear 02's with them on. Some people didn't get codes with them though, so it's hit or miss.

If I were you, I'd check into whether they're covered under warranty. Cats have a federal emissions warranty of 8 yrs/80k miles. Then after, you can upgrade if you want and you'll still have a set of brand new stockers for back-up or smogging (if needed).

Yup, I was going to say the same thing ^^, your factory cats are covered for a longer period than anything else on the car. Look into it Frankie!

Thanks for the input guys, I did some research after I posted this yesterday and did find where the Fed warranties the cats up to 8 years and 80K miles. The CEL went off, but next time it illuminates, I'll take it in and try this angle with the dealership. Thanks again to all who commented. BTW, the headers/hi flows are a great idea, just want to stay with stock set up for now. Later!
