Let me 1st start off my saying that anyone that would take a car like out in the snow is nuts even if it does have an AWD system. Both cars crosses the line between fast and just plan crazy fast lol so its a draw for me in that category. Both cars handle and brake well enough for me so that is another draw in that category. So to me, if money wasn't a problem, I would go with the GTR because I think that it looks better than the ZR1. I've seen the ZR1 in person and it just looks like a normal Corvette with some minor work done to it.

so yeah i'd say i'd take a "normalish" looking corvette over that....

plus its faster, cooler, and not a piece of crap that will break if you drive it the way its "designed" to be driven....

It should be a totally different story if they ran the test with a ZR1 vs GTR V Spec. This would be a more comparable as the 2 flagships are being used.

Either way though I would take any one of them if given the chance. Both tough cars.

if the transmission in the "normal" GTR cant take it....how the hell is the "V Spec" gonna handle it....

and if they decided to put a for real transmission in it....and fix the issues with that....how much more is it gonna cost?

That was pretty awesome.
Both cars are really bad ass, it's just a matter of preference. I'd take the ZR1 because I will always choose a V8 over a boosted V6 or 4cylinder. Hence driving an SRT8 Charger over a New Evo or STI, (which I'm not dissing) the EVO is kick as, just again not completely my taste.

I think the Z06 is a better car to compare it to. Similar HP. The Z06 will have serious weight advantage & the GT-R has all wheel drive & paddle shifts. That should level the field. I've already had my way with a GT-R, it wasnt even close.
