couldnt agree more I just wish we could still fight wars like we use too.



on another note anybody watching The Pacific on HBO? great show really puts things in perspective.

Good find! My first duty station was Marine Corps base Kaneohe Bay Hawaii, 12 miles north east of Pearl Harbor. It too was attacked on Dec 7th, there are still buildings there and on Pearl that have bullet holes in them from the attack. I also had the fortune of meeting Medal of Honor recipient John Finn who during the attack on Kaneohe beat a pipe into the ground on the airfield, mounted a 50 and started shooting down Japanese as they attacked. He was shot several times but didn't quit.

In January 2002 I reenlisted on the USS Arizona and hoisted a flag over the memorial. These are memories I will never forget.
