linky to best run of the night, took awhile to get it to hook, but still wasn't the best, only 12.33, but not too horrible , I guess, for a nearly 4,000 lbs 450 HP car. Enjoy !

yeah, I actually picked up a set of rear wheels from another forum and slapped some 20 inch nitto 555Rs on them...never thought I'd be putting on a 20inch drag radial, lol. Anyways, thing was like trying to drive out of quicksand for the first 15-20 ft due to not being able to flash converter past ~1,000-1,100 rpm. It'd just push right through the brakes if I tried anymore than that. I also thing there's a lag between what my foot does and what the throttle body does, so I'm gonna look into that. Maybe a ported TB would give me quicker reaction from the throttle. We'll see.

oh...my best 60ft was only 1.9 something, even with the DRs.

Nice times, its all in the 60' I could not get my 60' under 2.1 last time I went hence the 12.6 all day long, no burn out, Vrdesteins and HEAVY USW rims. Full street trim basically, just lined it up and ran it.

I think with drag radials it feels like it will get into the high 11's, may do a torque converter also.

I got rid of the variable valve timing and displacement on demand crap and now it's LS3 (rather than what GM calls the L99), with headers, exhaust, cai and tune. It actually has improved on mpg since the swap, by about 1-2 mpg...lol...way to go, GM, doing fuel saving changes that actually hurt fuel economy...lol.

It's under the vid T. A 2010 Camaro SS , mods by Carolina Auto Masters of Durham (cam, headers, tune, cai) vs a Trans Am 383 Stroker, MT ET streets/skinnies, exhaust,tune,etc..Camaro runs 12.33. Rockingham Dragway.

thats pretty sweet time...cause yeah the camaro is a heavy car....but its sexy too....I think my magnum weighs in at 4400lbs thats a lot of weight to push around...

yeah, it's an auto...the A6 trans is really great, I think it gets alot of bad press, but that's usually from the manual peeps. If you check out the fast times lists for Camaros and Corvettes with this trans, either stock or modified, the A6s are usually right up in 7 of the top ten spots. I know an A6 held the top spot for the Vette in stock, external, and internal mods list for at least 3 years. The only thing this car needs is a decent converter. My mods list for the guy that asked,:
LG Longtube headers,midpipe,high flow cats
SLP loudmouth 2 axle-back exhaust
custom cam and tune by Carolina Auto Masters
Airraid CAI
that's it, with the exception of drag radials.

You"ll trim that 60' and get much better results down the track


Mine was with a manual car. 1st manual shift car I have ever owned that wasn't a 4 cyl. Honda! I was 11.92 at 116 1st outing...... I've added about 40 HP but have yet to return to the track. Got new Drag Rads delivering now. But now the HEAT is the killer here in Texas. 3500+ DA averages for summer. This video was taken in November and it was about 2200 DA as I recall.

ARH 1 7/8" Headers
Magnaflow 3" Cat Back
