Ordered my BT door-pull bezels yesterday

Well I bought myself a Christmas gift yesterday and ordered the BT polished door-pull bezels. Man these things look great on the website. I can't wait till they get here and can install them. Has anyone else bought these yet? And if so, can you post-up some pics! I also have the BT polished speaker rings so the polished door-pulls will be a nice compliment to them. Finally, I'll have some door-panels that look pretty good.:thumbsup:

Ignoring my threads I see!!! I don't have any pics of the speaker rings, but once I get my polished door-pull bezels installed I'll take some pics and post-em up. Bezels were shipped today from BT, so hopefully I'll get them before Christmas.

These aren't actually the door-pulls themselves, but are polished rings that go around the physical door-latch pull(chrome) that actually opens up the door. Go to BT's website to see what I'm talking about...they look good.

Well I installed the BT door-pull bezels yesterday along with my BT speaker rings again(2nd time around). I had problems with installing both for various reasons which I won't get into unless you guys really want to know. Anyways here's some pics.

Well here it goes...I bought the speaker rings a few months ago on the BT group buy and paid about $89 for them. BT states to install them with clear silicone adhesive which I bought from the local auto-parts store. I used the silicone and they only stayed attached for about a month and then both fell off. I called BT and they sent me out another pair and told me to try some sort of adhesive primer or something like that which I could never find. I never tried to install the new rings until I bought the door-pull bezels last week. I used a plastic superglue epoxy to attach the speaker rings and they seem well attached now.

The tried installing one of the door-pull bezels when it was cold and the temp was very cold outside also...it didn't stick to the door panel very well at all. I removed the BT supplied double-sided tape(5 in total were installed by BT). I bought some heavy-duty double-sided tape from Home Depot and then installed 9 pieces of tape in total to the ring and installed it - is attached very well at this time. The other 3 remaining door-pull bezels I just added 4 additional pieces of tape to the 5 that are already on the bezel and then installed...these are sticking very well now. I think the cold weather has something to do with the stickiness of the BT supplied adhesive tape on the rings, but if you ever get them I would suggest installing a few more pieces of tape for good measure. And yes....I did clean the door-panels first before I took those pics!LOL :D Almost forgot...I spent $69 total for the 4 polished door-pull bezels. I bought them with BT's holiday 15% discount and free shipping that ended on 12/31/08. I also purchased the shift-plate bezel in satin polish which I haven't received yet. I guess I'll take pics of it also when I get it installed.

He finally gets back to me and says he was probably going to sell them to someone but if he didn't get the money by that evening, he'd pm me back. I'm thinking if you had someone in mind (he said it was a guy who purchased something from him earlier in the week) then wtf would you post the for sale thread and waste my time jackass. I pm'd him back with something to that effect. Douche. Anyways, he was asking 50 for the 4 door rings in satin.

The polished rings are more money, but look alot better IMO and better match the chrome door-pull handle. Just wait until BT has another discount and then get the polished ones like I have. On the other hand...you should've gotten them when the discount was still on douche bag!!!!!!:drool:

Here's what my doors look like, I've added the 300 door pulls, 22Elite arm rest pads, some Carbon by Design pieces and the BT door sills (not the greatest pix but you get the point) ...

22Elite. Dave (Quick) has them and I saw them in person and really liked them so I ordered them up (our doors are WAY too plain), took a few weeks as they make them to order. They're nice but expensive, $199 I think they were, check their site.

I'm glad you took some pics of the BT satin door sills. I've been looking at these for a long time, but BT doesn't have any decent pics of these on their site. These aren't the designer series are they? Also, I just installed my BT satin shift plate today...looks good, but the only thing I'm not totally fond of is that it raises the shift plate chrome trim ring some so that it doesn't sit as low as it did before. I'll take some pics of this sometime soon and post-em up.

I've ALWAYS been more go than show, but if money wasn't a concern, I'd definitely get those. From the site, they do look to be really good quality though. I totally agree with you that our doors look like garbage. Complete and utter garbage. Nothing a little dress can't fix.....but preferably one of the female persuasion hehehehe. :Scottwax1:
