I am not sure if this is the right forum for this but I gotta ask.

I am looking for a stock Navigation Unit for my wife's Tahoe. Anyone know where I can get one for a good price?

[dude the nav's for g.m in 07 suck ,you need a disk to run it and cant change it when vehicle is moving ,my nav on my cell phone is way better ,just my 2 cents

Wife wants it. We looked at the 2010's. Very nice. But the deals suck right now. Maybe trade it for a 2010 late in the year.
Is there a better stock year to upgrade to?
Is there a better aftermarket unit that looks stockish? I am not knowledgeable about car electronics at all.

for what you will pay for a factory nav ,mite aswell go with aftermarket from a reputable shop in your area ,take the wife with you and let her pick it out ,i believe well with mine in the 'ss' the 'bose' system is with it and i do like that ,so maybe check ebay then go aftermarket ,just my 2 cents

James, get one of these....they're really good head units/navs from what I've heard and you might even be able to find a solid deal on one on Craigslist in your area. People are still hurting now unfortunately, but you could pick one up for a fair deal and I'd imagine cheaper than the unit from a dealer or close to an auto recycler for a stock one.

I went with a unit called Rosen. Stock look. I am not sure that I am convinced it was the best choice, but the wife is happy. lol
