What's your A/F at WOT??? I checked my car from stock CAI+TB to mods CAI+90mm TB. In both cases the car run with an average 11.7 A/F @ WOT, and when I reached high KM/H (MPH) the A/F reached below 11 (10.6-10.8). why is that??
I know 11.5-11.8 is best for torque (Go Hemi :hyper:), but shouldn't it be 12.5 or something??? I thought 12.5-12.8 is the best for HP.
So what's your car A/F @ WOT???
Note: I got my A/F from data log, still I have to fix my A/F gauge to see the actual.

I've been told 12.4-12.5 for naturally aspirated and 11.7-11.8 for forced induction at WOT.

I'm getting my car tuned again right now and my latest tune I have yet to try will be at a WOT of 12.5. I have heads/cam/intake/longtubes etc

The A/F from the Diablo data log is the commanded A/F, not your actual. Once you get your wideband working, you may see some different results. When the Predator first came out, I think I remember Diablo saying that the 6.1 made more power when run a little fatter than other motors. They targeted 12.2 with the canned tunes. So a requested 11.8 could easily be an actual low 12 number.

Yeah I will check again once I receive my gauge pod, but why A/F get richer at high MPH??? it decreases for me from 11.8 to 10.7
BTW I raced M5 today..........I got beaten so bad >_>
I guess cam+head will take care of it

Higher RPMs = more heat. They probably keep it fat for cylinder cooling and to reduce knock.

1fastsedan is right, the predator shows Commanded AFR, not necessarily actual AFR. With a good Cal they should be the same but they are not necessarily the same.
You are actually running into component protection fueling. There is an algorithim in the PCM that calcualtes the amount of heat on components like the exhaust valves, O2 sensors, catalysts etc and when the temps get to a certain level, the pcm begins richening the fueling to keep the temperatures below the max level in the calibration. It's normal. Sometimes it's refered to as Catalyst over temp protection as the catalyst is typically the hottest of the components that need to be protected. There are ways to change this in the Hemi CMR software but there is a risk for durability of the components being protected. For most guys it's not an issue as they don't do sustained WOT runs long enough for it to be an issue. If you like to run the car at WOT for a long time, I wouldn't recommend disabling the over temp protection stuff.

Could you disable it for a race tune Joel?

With My AEM Wideband I'm Seeing 14.7 While Idling And Swings From 13.0 - 16.0 Under Normal Driving Conditions And Starting And Stopping. But When I Go WOT I See 10.5, But Then Again I'm Spraying 100% Meth At WOT.

THere are ways to delay it from coming in yes. You can raise the max temp that it enables at and change other tables used in the calculations. Unfortunatly the Chrysler software doesnt have a handle to just turn it off like GM stuff does.
