It's a nice rig. I drove the lesser one with the V6 Pentastar motor in it and it was underpowered...especially felt heavy in first gear but really slick interior and it felt heavy duty. Wish they put it out with a 6 speed though..at least for the 6. Otherwise, even with the 6, it was overpriced. Wife just bought a Journey.

Steve I had no choice I was not keeping the Charger either way and I needed a vehicle for winter use and this was the best thing for me now.

But the 2012 SRT8 will be in the garage when it comes out that is no question!!!

I guess the SRT8 Jeeps are pretty decent in the snow??? I'm assuming they are do to the AWD.

That's a damn good looking vehicle Tony. I had not seen one until this thread and am surprised in a good way. Have you had a chance to tinker with the four wheel drive at all yet?

You're gonna like her in the snow T! We haven't picked up the Journey yet. I don't really care too much about it though since wifey will be driving it mostly. If it was up to me I would have got what you did.

Just run your VIN at the ram website.

Lots of TSB's for the 09...but if you had a 09 that was in a later run, it probably wont be as bad as mine.

I am a master of avoidance therapy so thanks...I'll check into it some time soon!

I like it, its a hell of an improvement over the first gen WK, second row aint that big but hell im not sitting back there.


I am interested to see if they learned anything from the release of my truck to the release of the jeep.

Keep us posted on if you have any issues.

Well I have been out of touch with you guys for sometime...things are going well on my end. My wife and I signed off on the paperwork and I am now finalizing all the official divorce paperwork.

But with that being said...

Tony (my future US President elect mind you)....nice SUV...I take it you got rid of the mighty Charger then?

Yes unfortunately I did, needed something a little more winter resistent and plus I made my mind up about getting the second gen WK2 SRT8 so before I lost anymore off the Charger I traded it in.

Good luck to you buddy glad to see some things are out of the way.
