Hello - New here, just discovered this site.
I currently own a 2005 Cadillac Escalade and 1987 Buick Grand National and I'm in the market for a 2010 CTS-V.
Regards,
Jay

Yo, Jay, welcome aboard, man.
Your ol' school GN has always been one of my favourites and the '10 V is on a wish list!

Welcome to the forum Jay. Post up some pics of the rides when you get a chance and don't be shy. We're a small forum, but we're all friendly car guys regardless of make and model. Have fun and post up anything you like.

The GN is mostly stock with roller cam(210/210), upgraded valve springs, lifters, timing chain, roller rockers in the last one year. The car has 132k miles and sat in a garage for 9 years so it's needing some work. Fortunately the body is in great condition, no rust at all. Also new rims and tires. Future upgrades include converting brakes to vacuum, alcohol injection, and full set of gauges.

See now...I love that car!
I once knew a wealthy guy here in Ottawa who bought an '86 new, insisted that all factory packaging be left in place including all stickers and tags.
The car arrived at the dealer and he flat-bedded it to his private, sub-basement apartment garage where he had some other collector cars (he had 2 mint Tornadoes, 4 mint Eldo convertibles and 3 split-window 'Vettes, a big block 4-speed RS/SS Camaro and a couple of '32 Ford street rods).
As far as I know, his GN still rests two stories undeground, as new. I wonder what it's worth?

nice car welcome.
Thanks guys. I appreciate the comments. I've wanted a GN since high school when they 1st came out but had no cash. It's in really good condition but it's not a garage queen as I like to drive my cars. The bad is that I'm always paranoid about it being stolen as it's easy to steal and high in demand.
My winter vehicle is...2005 Escalade with 2007 Escalade 22" rims.

I came very close to buying a 87' GN back in 97'. I drove a very low mileage one the same day I drove the 95' Firehawk. Needless to say...I bought the Firehawk instead. I really like the body style of the GN, but I didn't really like the plain jane Regal dash in it and the overall interior of the car. Awesome car though and it doesn't take much to make them pretty damn fast.

Ha ha. I took that pic on Monday to show my friends in Cali what salt does to cars in Chicago.

We got snowed on today, over 20 inches. The Escalade drove well in all that snow.
