Just wanted to pass along my sincere Christmas and New Years wishes to all you freaks (for my Canadian friends, Happy Boxing Day - seeing how you don't celebrate Christmas). Sorry I haven't been on lately... I've been 'out of it' in many ways for sometime... maybe its the having a kid thing... I don't know... I'm not really the forum Momo I used to be!
As for my holidays, they were pretty good!
Christmas eve, we had Rick and his family over for dinner and they in-turn had us over on Christmas Day. Rick, the perpetual BBQ guru, made a stunning meal, to say the least... Bobby Flay, suck a di_k!
Filet Mignon (BBQ aka: Smoked)
Spiral Cut Ham (BBQ)
Fried Corn (if you've never had this... you're missing out in life)
A potato dish that was phenominal (Rick's bro., Scot, made this)
The meat was THE most tender piece of beef I've EVER had. The flavor, perfect. I ate until I was bloated and gorged like a tick.
My Mom is coming out in early January for a week, so there's the family time for the holidays!
All in all, I had the pleasure of great food, friends and gifts. I hope you all had the same.
