I'd LOOOOOOOOOOVE to unload about 25 rounds from a 12 guage right into the engine bay of my Charger. She's been down for over two months now, due to a MOTHER FUCKING fuel rail install!!!!??! Really??? YESS!!!
At first, I'll admit, I didn't realize that AN fittings didn't need much torque. So I learned my lesson on a couple of fittings the hard way. But since the very beginning, I've done nothing but treat her with absolute finesse and fine touch. But now, all I get is leaks. When I replace one fitting another one leaks. When I fix that, another part leaks. My baby has been sitting in a fucking garage for 60+ days because of stupid ass mother fucking AN fittings.
I did all of this just for "looks" right now, and to be ready for F/I down the road. But I'm majorly regretting it now. And I don't even wanna talk about how much this has all cost me. But let's just say, take what you'd normally pay for a Fore fuel rail setup with front and rear crossover lines, and DOUBLE that shit.
I'm out of money. I'm out of patience. And lucky for my Charger, I'm out of fucking ammo. Rant over.......maybe.....
Ouch... Painful to read. Differently feel your frustration... My Jeep was down for 3 months last year for undisclosed reasons... :talktothehand :Disappointed_anim: lost all summer with her.
What about getting some custom hoses made up? It will be show quality and all you have to do is snug them up. :IDK

sorry to hear that brother. i'm down in va/nc doing some training for the next month and i have a viper lying dormant if you need a whip to borrow. i feel your pain, the viper was down for about 4 months with a cracked header that cost me around 15k to fix. i dunno if it's just mopar or all high performance cars, but they seem quite prone to breakages. it's frustrating but when they're at the top of their game....well worth it!

Hell ya, that says it all...Markypoo has a Viper he wants to loan you to drive around in, even though things are prone to breakage and he just spent 15K getting them unbroken.
That, sir, is respect. Much respect, love and trust.

Brian. The setup is part Fore, part Speedlogix, and part Show & Performance. All pre-assembled -8 lines & fittings.
Thanks Marky. Much love buddy.

Chase, I totally understand and sympathize in that I know how the hell that feels....BUT, for me, it's almost always attributed to me! lol. I can't get the shit right the first time so then I lose patience and feel like destroying things with a sledge hammer. Ever since, (unless it's blind-monkey-on-crack-easy), I pay to get my shit done and done right and even that doesn't always go swimmingly lol. I wish I could do alot of my own work but due to time constraints and impatience, as well as my desire to set things that went wrong on fire...I refrain. Good luck bro...sounds like you need a vacation at this point.

Gonna play with one more fitting tomorrow. If that doesn't work, sending the WHOLE THING back to Ralph, and have him test it all. Thanks for the "hugs" boys.......

Frustrating when you finally get it all figured out, look at and address all the potential issues, address them, then still have prob's.
My face would be beet red in anger and my nose would start bleeding...

Look on the bright side...at least you've got a badass 300 to drive while you get it staightened out. At this point...I'd probably just send the whole fuel rail assembly down to Ralph and let him test and fix it.

Walker came by tonight and helped. I don't feel like getting into ALL THE DETAILS, but we localized the problem. We have a couple more solutions. Right now, it's the BEST it's ever been, but still sliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiightly leaking. Going to try the solutions over the weekend. I have a slight glimmer of hope......

Well, after some great overlap time with Walker under the hood. After some testing, after some part swapping, THE WHOLE ASSEMBLY is off to Ralph @ Show & Performance. I swapped out the last fitting today that could have been the culprit of leaks, and it didn't work. So Ralph will get all my goodies by week's end & we'll go from there. I hope people stay out of my way this week, because I'm capable of murder at this point......
Looks like it'll be another two weeks before the Charger becomes mobile again, that'll make it a nice 3 months of sitting in the fkn garage. Anybody know of any good aesthetic DIY mods I could do under the hood, while I wait, lol???
