Love that colour scheme, Mike. If it's a great deal, it's a no-brainer, man...great bike.
Too bad you live so far away, we could have a coupla little contests! Haha!
I've got +2/-1 Vortex sprockets installed so if you're stock geared I think I'd walk ya a bit! (just don't tell me it's bored or turbo's or some crazy shit like that).

For some reason, I can't picture you on a crotch rocket Mikey. You seem more like the cruiser type. Anyways, good luck with the bike and be safe my friend!

Those Corbin Beetle Bags are the shizz, Mike. Pretty pricy but so well done (I have a friend who had them on his '02 ZX-12).
Throw a Sergeant or Corbin seat on it with the backrest support for Sexy's little bum and you're all set (lol, you'll need something to keep her from scooting off the pillion when you crank it...).

Wow, you gais are all kuhrazy!!! I LOVE IT!! Awesome bike Mikey! Gotta watch the knuckleheads out there bro. Red. that's a sick bike too man. Guy across the street (recently moved) had one similar to that with nitrous on it. lol. He must have scared the shit out of himself or something because before he moved, I hadn't seen him ride it even once in 2 years or so.

Agreed. The motor on mine was bone stock with only suspension and sprocket mods. I was in the 9's in the 1/4. Trap speed about 146-148.
Be safe out there bro. It's a fun bike, just don't have too much fun :)

Awwwwww shit!!! Everyone's got the bike bug again. I've been out eye fucking a Kawasaki Concours 14 but I'm trying to get ahead $$ wise first.
Damnit this sucks!! For what I make I should have more loot in the bank instead of still bailing out of previous bull shit. I was doing the "funny math" at work last night.

Dog, I've been looking at them, lol.
Initially started because they looked almost kinda sporty/smaller/more flickable...my only real concern is the Boxer engine - I know it's bulletproof and all but I'm just not sure it'd have enough grunt for me. See, I took a previously enjoyed R1100S for a spin last fall and the ting was a hoot, very light and nimble but I was just ringin' it out hoping that it'd have a little more poop.
Anyway, maybe they've geared & tuned the RT differently for the expected two-up riding and different overall use.
I plan to swing a leg over Honda's ST in the spring as well as Yamaha's good ol' FJR (knowing that I already like the Concourse but finding it a bit too large for my liking).

i would say the grunt is there in the tourqe area ,when i first got on it and hit second my hand flew off the clutch lever,so its peppy and flickable but i could tell my gt will hand it its ass,but you can mod those as i had an r1150r back in 04/05 and had it tuned ,remus and she ran pretty good but its not cheap to mod a beemer!!!

So noted! I'll do my best to ride the ST, FJR (at one dealership) and Beemer (at another dealership) back to back.
