I have a 2011 RT challenger that is bone stock, and in my honest opinion it sounds like trash on the outside. Plus...my truck outruns it in the 1/4 mile...
So..seeing as how it is an auto and all, what needs to be done to the car to beat my damn truck?! What kind of power can the auto tranny hold before blowin up? And what is the best mods to do to it to make it fast? Turbo? Supercharger? Cam? Motor work? Tuning? Exhausts? Anything?

welcome to the madness ,not sure about the mods for the mopar but most on here are all about mopar so you'll be seeing them chime in soon ,we are a small open formatted site and have a huge archive of mods and performance upgrade's aswell as some good vendors that take good care of our members ,you'll need that in order to catch up with that duramax,my buddy has one and its a 4 door lifted 4x4 with a stage 3 tune and is in the 12's..i just programmed my 'ss' with exhaust and probably shaved a second of the stats aswell so maybe start that and see what happens ,good luck and hope you enjoy!!!!post some pics aswell...

Thanks for the quick response, any suggestions on what kind of tuning? I use efi live for the diesel but I don't think I can use it with a mopar.

Truck ran a 13.05? And challenger ran..? Don't remember. But it lost. So that's why I'm here lol.

There are lots you can do. I will let the serious Mopar addicts address it for you. But from what I understand a CORSA is a great exhaust. There are companies that make long tube headers, then you have places that do heads and cam work. (HPP out of Delaware)....I don't know if it will ever be as quick as your 07 Duramax, but with the right combo it should be a close second. :) lol..just teasin'.

Kooks long tube headers, Magnaflow high flow mid pipes, Corsa exhaust, here's the final product:

I also have a Stack performance "Bullet" cold air intake and performance heads with high-rev valve springs, seats, ti-retainers. But most of what you hear is just the exhaust set-up. It's putting down right around 450RWHP, granted, this is on a 6.1L V8 instead of your 5.7.
Also, you can look into performance heads/cams. If you want big numbers and your ok with forced induction, get yourself a Kenne Bell SC, that will solve your HP cravings lol.
Where do you live? I know quite a few great mopar shops, so depending on your location, i'll point you in the right direction ;)
